When we moved into our old farmhouse, the living room was functional—but it had absolutely no magic. In this living room makeover, I gave myself two days to transform it with paint, a new chandelier, vintage and thrifted art, floral curtains, and a giant gallery wall. I wanted this room to feel warm, collected, colorful, and a little bit magical—like it had evolved over generations instead of being decorated all at once. And somehow, changing the wall color, lighting, and filling the walls with art completely changed the feeling of the room. Come along as I paint, decorate, rearrange furniture, hang WAY too much art, and turn one of the most boring rooms in our old house into one of my favorites. If you love old houses, cozy interiors, English cottage style, vintage decorating, thrifted home decor, maximalist gallery walls, and homes with lots of character, I think you'll love this transformation.
